Fall Festival Bowl Fillers

Wool Applique

In this class, the student will learn wool applique and surface embroidery. The bowl fillers are made of hand-dyed wool fabric and feature nine fall motifs, with three motifs per ball. Each ball is about 4” tall. This class is suitable for beginners and above.

The class kit will include the pattern and detailed instructions, hand-dyed wool fabrics, needles, pearl cotton threads, and black beads.

Students are asked to supply a washable glue stick, fine pins, freezer paper, blue wash-away marker (Dritz fine line is recommended), sharp scissors, and paper scissors along with the usual stitching supplies and lighting and magnification as needed. Polyester fiberfill will be needed to complete the bowl fillers but not needed in class.
