Textiles weave through the history of the world and through our own everyday lives. They may tell personal stories, contain hidden messages, or recount history from diverse viewpoints. In this new performance presentation which is illustrated with plentiful pictures, Betsy Bauman tells intriguing, moving, and funny stories about the power of the stitch. Embroidery, quilting, and other “fabrications” will be featured in the “Sew Stories.”
