Embroidered Buttons
Keep the love of stitching alive with our young people! Join Joyce Fath for our Adult/Child Workshop as we stitch and assemble a button. The stitching will be done in a spring-loaded hoop and then attached to a button fixture. You will learn a few embroidery stitches which can be used in many places. The finished button can be worn on such items as a shirt, jacket, hat, or bookbag.
Each kit will include the patterns, a spring tension embroidery hoop, cloth, needle, needle threader, and the button fixture. Joyce will provide a selection of threads in different colors, scissors for shared use, and a lightbox for tracing the patterns onto the cloth.
The workshop is for children ages 7-15. A parent or guardian must accompany each child.
